Singing since age 2, R&B Singer, Songwriter, Producer – “Tracy Haynes” aka “The Rarebreed,” inherited his musical genius from his father who was a gospel singer. Picking up where his father left off, Tracy helped create the gospel group, True Faith, at age 14. The five-part harmony were demanded by, and performed at, several churches in the Midwest region. By the time Tracy made it to high school, the R&B bug had gotten a hold of him and wouldn't let go. Influenced by Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, and his pastor, Tracy began writing, producing, and cranking out hits for his newest musical creation, All Out. The ensemble of seven enjoyed local success, performing throughout Toledo and the surrounding areas, while receiving radio play from the only urban station in the market.
When the group members decided to pursue solo careers, Tracy put his career into overdrive. His full attention was focused on learning the business, innovating his craft, and building an audience. While performing his hit single “Pretend” at the Tom Joyner talent showcase he met his future manager, mentor, and primary investor, M3M Management who partnered with his team, Hustle Hand and FlipNFlex/Wright Tyme Studios. Soon after the coalition formed in 2007, Tracy was featured on Fox Toledo News as “Toledo Idol”, a segment that showcases a local artist building a name for himself. His growing popularity allowed him to further expand his brand by showcasing his talent, opening up for major artists such as T- Pain, Bobby Valentino, BG, Ciara, Tyrese, Trey Songz, Drake and more. He also performed at the biggest urban beach party event in Northwest Ohio, for 4 years straight “The Bash at the Bay”, sponsored by the Core DJ’s, with celebrity artists: Yung Joc, Pretty Ricky, Lyfe, and Britney Elise. In June 2009, Tracy released his first most anticipated album “RareBreed” and has received tens of thousands of rave reviews from fans all over the world, proving to himself that being recognized as a star musician was inevitable. Hits include “Go Live,” Pretend,” “If it Aint You,” “Take My Time,” and more.
Facebook and Myspace has been vital in Tracy's career. In less than a year, Tracy has gathered over 30,000 friends and received over 150,000 plays. His buzz is steadily becoming a mighty roar, and has opened up doors all over the Midwest. Tracy has performed all over Ohio, including Toledo, Lima, Sandusky, Findlay, Cleveland, Columbus, and John Legend's hometown of Springfield. He has also earned praise in New York, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Texas. And the list continues to grow. 2010 has been Tracy’s biggest year to date. He gained national attention as a semi-finalist in Steve Harvey’s Radio Star Contest, and spent time in New York pursuing his craft at the legendary Apollo Theater, and Wild Out Wednesday for BET’s top-rated show, 106 & Park. His vocals and writing talents were also heard on the airwaves around the country as an addition to a song featuring Too $hort, “Cuffin.” Tracy also celebrated his September 2010 nomination at the Ohio Hip Awards for Best Album 2009 for his album “Rarebreed.” He is thankful for the support of OHHA Rep/Embrace Ent. and the dedicated fans in Ohio.
Tracy's short-term goal is to heavily impact the music industry and make timeless music. The thing he looks most forward to is using his blessings to give back. He has already started this process by being Co-Founder of “Dunkin’ for Donations”, an annual charity basketball game, and the proceeds benefit local foster kids. He is currently working on his 2nd album and recently released his single “Go Girl" featuring "Master of Ceremony", Rapper "Cuntry.” This is the motivation that continues to drive Tracy to succeed in this business.
