B-No Good- Artist

On the shores of Lake Erie lies one of America’s most poverty-stricken, and
according to the media, one of the worst cities to live in…Cleveland, Ohio a.k.a. “the
mistake on the lake”. It’s hard to maintain a regular job here let alone breakthrough in
the music industry, and those who do make end up following trends and therefore not
giving the city its own original sound. But there is hope. From the eastside slums of
Cleveland dwells a young entrepreneur by the name of B-No Good.

B-No Good was created to destroy the current state of hip hop/rap music with
grungy-style beats, hardcore and relevant rhymes, with topics that people of a broad
spectrum can relate. Inspired by the knowledge driven raps of The Wu-Tang Clan, and
the production style of Madlib, The RZA, The Neptunes and Timbaland, B-No Good is
an artist of incredible range. Not motivated by flashiness, materialism, and fame B-No’s
music is a pure definition of the struggle of the working man. His style is uniquely
aimed at the revitalization of both the hip hop industry and the city of Cleveland, Ohio.

B-No is currently 26 years old, and has been rapping and producing ever since he
was 13 with a group formed in middle school called “Da Gamb-noz”. The group
consisted of two other members (G-No, B-No’s best friend and C-No B-No’s cousin) that
are currently a part of the new group “Downtown Delinquents” which has a total of three
members (B-No, Kufe Brite, G. Ice). The Dowtown Delinquents host a radio program by
the name of “2-1-Sick Radio!!” every Sunday morning from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM on
WCSB 89.3 FM (Cleveland State’s college station). B-No was raised with a very
distinctively flavored musical taste as his father (a.k.a. The Trashman) had him at a
young age listening to Parliament, James Brown, Charles Wright, all the way to music
from Frank Zappa, Spike Jones, Art of Noise and Kraftwerk. This gives B-No a unique
advantage over many producers, because he is willing to take risks and bend genres to
create a new age hip hop sound. This ain’t your average “boom-clap” rhythm.
